At CVTSA we do our best to save or improve the lives of our patients through heart and lung transplantation when it becomes necessary.
Working with the esteemed Inova Transplant Center at Inova Fairfax Hospital, we are proud to have performed Washington's first heart transplant in 1986 and first lung transplant in 1991.
